Martin Laborde (1983, Paris) lives and works in Lisbon. Since 2017, his studio has hosted episodic installments of Ampersand (an independent program he founded with editor Alice Dusapin) and is part of editorial board of the art magazine octopus notes (upcoming issue #11 in January 2024). He is currently working on a publication gathering recent years of his collage practice to be published by Dope Press (Los Angeles) et Daisy (Paris) along with texts by writer Constance Debré, and artist Charles Veyron, designed by Robert Milne


Sofia Defino Leiby (1989, St. Paul, USA) is a painter and writer who lives and works in Berlin. Solo exhibitions include Sweetwater, Berlin (2021); Ύλη[matter] HYLE, Athens (2018); and Clifton Benevento, New York (2016). She has also been included in group exhibitions at Sophie Tappeiner, Vienna; KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin; and Kunsthalle Zürich, Zurich, among others. Her writing has been published in Texte zur Kunst, Artforum, Pure Fiction and Spike Art Magazine, amongst others. Her first book of prose, May Text, was published by Bauer Verlag in 2023. Leiby studied at the School of the Art Institute Chicago and the Städelschule, Frankfurt.
